Silver dollar, Metynnis hypsauchen (Müller and Troschel, 1844)

The silver dollar is native to South America (Galib and Mohsin, 2011). This species was imported in Bangladesh from Thailand and Singapore (Galib and Mohsin, 2010 and 2011). This species was recorded from several aquarium shops of Dhaka and Khulna
