Shellfish, a group of invertebrates and aquatic organism, is covered by chitinous or calcareous exoskeleton. Shell means an outer covering or layer which is popularly known as “Khoalos” in Bengali. Shellfishes are belonging to two major Phylum Arthropoda and Mollusca.
