In Bangladesh, African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) was imported in 1989 from Thailand by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock (MOFL), Bangladesh for profitable aquaculture. But the entire hypothesis got practically useless in the contest of Bangladesh within a few years.
