A total of 24 fishing gears were recorded through field (Halti beel, Natore) survey conducted between August 2006 and February 2007. Among them, number of nets and traps is 7 and 15 respectively. Rest is wounding gears.

Structure: 6-8 barbed iron forks attached in front of a bamboo stick
Fork length: 0.66 ft
Bamboo (Handle): 4.16 ft
Catch: Boal, Shol, Carpio etc.
02. Aika
Structure: 1/2/3 barbed iron forks attached in front of a bamboo stick
Fork length: 0.83 ft
Bamboo (Handle): 6.25 ft
Catch: Guchi, baim & tara baim.
