  • Present Employment (June 2012 – Till Date):
    Assistant Professor, Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Sonapur, Noakhali-3814, Bangladesh.
  • Past Employment (June 2010 – June 2012):
    Lecturer, Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Sonapur, Noakhali-3814, Bangladesh.
  • Past Employment (February 2009- August 2009):
    Research Biologist in “Egg and sperm quality of Indian major and Chinese carps in Bangladesh” project under the Department of Ministry of Science and Technology of Bangladesh.
  • The major job responsibilities were –
    • Collection of data on egg quality and spermatological parameters (sperm motility, sperm concentration, seminal pH, Fertilizability) and ionic and organic components of seminal plasma (Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca++, Total protein, Albumin and Cholesterol) of Indian major carps (Catla and Rohu) and Chinese carps ( Silver and Bighead carps) from the hatchery and also to identify the causes responsible for deterioration of sperm and egg quality across the spawning seasons..
    • Statistical analysis of experimental data.

 

M.S. Dissertation Title:

  • “Sperm Quality Changes in Silver and Bighead Carps during Breeding Seasons”.
    The research was carried out in Rajendrapur BRAC hatchery between 15 April and 14 September 2008. The research works included analysis of spermatological parameters (sperm motility, sperm concentration, seminal pH, Fertilizability) and ionic and organic components of seminal plasma (Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca++, Total protein, Albumin and Cholesterol) of Silver and Bighead carps during the spawning seasons.

B.Sc. Dissertation Title:

  • “Determination of Microbial Agents of Fish”. The research work was carried out in Snow King Frozen Foods (Pvt) Ltd. from October 03, 2007 to October 25, 2007.
