Related Research Expriences:

• Selective breeding, line breeding and cross breeding techniques is being successfully applied to develop genetically improved strains of Silver Barb (Babonymus gonionotus) and Rohu (Labeo rohita)
• Hormonal sex alternation of fish using estrogen and androgen
• Molecular characterization of fish using RAPD markers
• Involved as associate investigator in the national research and development projects related to genetics and breeding .
• Involved in developing and evolving fish breeding and aquaculture technologies related to carp and disseminated this technologies among the fish hatchery and nursery operators as well as to entrepreneurs
• Gene pool conservation and facilitating artificial breeding of exotic and indigenous species through development of protocol for cryogenic preservation of fish spermatozoa.
